Coordinated School Health Resources

Coordinated School Health has many valuable resources that will help promote health and physical activity for your students and staff. Listed below are some of the resources that are available to your staff to help promote the eight component Coordinated School Health model.

Nutrition Nuggets monthly newsletters (English and Spanish) are provided to all elementary students throughout the school year to highlight practical tips for parents and students to promote a healthy lifestyle. The Nutrition Nuggets newletter can be viewed and printed from CSH Documents.

CPR/AED/First Aid classes are available for your school. Coffee County Schools have several certified American Heart Association instructors to teach basic life support. The class is video-led, and upon successful completion of the course, you will be issued a CPR card that is valid for 2 years. The training can be completed in 3 1/2 hours.

Smiles for Tomorrow is a program to help children with financial assistance for dental expenses, This program is funded by the Community Foundation Grant (Lillian Ashley fund)  through the Sportmen and businessmen of Coffee County.
