An ESP (Extended School Program) is available to serve parents that need their children supervised after regular school hours until 6 P.M. through the week.

New Union School completed the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) Re-evaluation. The review team re-certified our school during the 2003 – 2004 school year and was very complimentary of our instructional program, parent support and involvement, and student achievement.

Computers are present in all classrooms with two rooms designated as computer labs. New Union is networked and there is access to the internet. One computer lab was established in the summer of 2000. A second, Dell, computer lab was set up in the new wing in 2002 and is used a great deal of the time for our Fast Forword and Study Island programs. Recently, new Dell computers have been purchased and installed to replace older computers in the library media center.

Speech, Special Education, and Guidance Services supplement the regular school program. Teachers specializing in library science, music, and physical education are important assets to our school also.
