1. This site is chocked full of images of our students
and teachers in action.  We have included as many
"scrapbooked" pictures as were available.  Luckily,
many of us like to take pictures.  We have tried to
include friends, supporters, and volunteers in our
pages, as they are a vital part of our school.  Our
hope is that you will see the climate and atmosphere
of Jones as well as the academic goals.

2.  Because of the numerous graphics, some of the
pages will take time to load, but we hope it will be
worth the wait.  The graphics have been reduced
to the maximum amount possible in order to
minimize download time.

3.  Pages marked with a "new" button in the index
have been added within the last few weeks.  After a
few weeks on the index page, the page is added to
the archives pages as a "history" page.

4.  Each page listed in the main index has a "home"
button to return you to the Jones Home Page.  You
may also press the "Back" button on your browser to
return to a page.

5.  Older pages can be accessed here:

Archived Pages

There is also a link on the Home Page.

There is a link on each archived
page to return to the archives menu.

6.  Files with recent updates will be
marked with this push pin.

These will need to be reloaded each time
you see a push pin.
(See how in answer #7)

7.  If you visit a page often, you may need to push
the "reload" or "refresh" button on your browser
to get the latest version, because
the computer loads recently-viewed
pages from your computer's own cache file.
This is especially important when viewing
the home page and the calendar, because they
are changed most often.

8.  Each teacher has a page for her/his current class
on the main index page.
Class history pages can be accessed through the
archives pages or through the current individual
class pages.

9.  If you are interested in backgrounds for your own
web page, or for your desktop wallpaper,
use the link below to download any that
you might use.  Save a background to your files
by clicking on your right mouse button, and then
click on "Save Background As".
These can also be "Set As Wallpaper" for your
computer screen.  Be sure your desktop is set to
"tile" the image.

10.  We have not put a links page on the main index
because of the children who visit this site and the
possibility that they might leave those links and
become lost in the "cyberspace jungle".  Here,
(and here only), is a link to our "outside links" page.

(This is presently being constructed.)

There are many resources for parents and teachers
on the Coffee County site maintained by Lana Ray.

We doubted that many children would read through
this page to find it.
There are a few safe links on individual class pages,
but it is best to supervise your child's "surfing" at
all times, since it is "open territory" once the child
leaves this site.

For a safe children's search engine, you might try
the children's version of "Yahoo":
