Environmental
Field Trips

Each year, the fourth and fifth graders attending Jones
take an environmental field trip.  This lasts three to five
days and is a unique experience for the students.  They
attend classes in the outdoors, hike, play games, and
live in a dorm where they have to keep up with "their
own stuff" for the entire time.  For the past four years,
we have been able to alternate between two different
camps, Tremont, in the Great Smoky Mountains, and
Crows Neck, Mississippi.  This year's trip to Crow's
Neck was the sixteenth year for environmental camp.
Below are some scenes from those trips.
