All of the art in the pictures below was done using
Photo Impact 6, a graphics program by Ulead.
"Things with Wings"
"Pelican by the Sea".
(before Almathera)
This is my seagull. I liked his reflection in the water.
(before Almathea)
A Hornbill
These are the first butterflies that I made using Photo Impact.
African "Crowned" Crane
This was made by adding a dove and using the seagull above. Photo
Impact
treats each thing you make as separate objects, and you can move them
from
picture to picture and "recycle" them.
The first hatchling.....
....and the Canadian Geese Family Outing
Most of these were made using tutorials. The assignment here
was to make a turkey (in January), so I made him a Valentine turkey.
The violets he is holding were made using a different tutorial.
Same pelican, another view.
This is my "grumpy" cardinal.
(He's a male forced to egg-sit and he's not happy about it.)
Ah, the female cardinal is back........
My grandson, Jordan, framed and lighted.
(He's got wings.)
I did the Geisha using Photo Impact and scanned
a New Year's card from Korea for the background.
My second Geisha done in Photo Impact, and there's the dove again.
The background is a page of a children's book called
The Painter and the Wild Swans.
A Night Scene
Here I made the swans and used the same island
that I had done for the Canadian Geese nest.
(Another way of "recycling" an object in Photo Impact.)
My digital "Moon Dragon"
The water in this one was done using the
Almathera Puddle Plug-In for Photo Impact.
"Under the Sea"
My first digital fish. ( Photo Impact 6 has a feature called "Particles"
that add bubbles, stars, clouds, fireflies, etc.)
The first fish was so much fun that I made another one......
..... a pair of seahorses.....
....some angelfish....
.....a colorful fish....
...and one more.
Thanks for looking at my Digital Art!!!

"African" Mask
"Oriental Serenity"
Thanks to the many people who do
the
on-line tutorials for Photo Impact,
(especially Stephanie, Mary Lou,
Dawn,
Joanna, Rosie, Maggie, Ginger,
and Deb.)
Without those tutorials, my Photo
Impact 6
would still be in the box!!!!
