Meet author Janice Lynn
With the release of her debut novel, award-winning author Janice Lynn has achieved a life long dream — to see a book she wrote on a bookstore shelf. Southern born and bred, Janice lives in Tennessee with her husband, their four children, their Jack Russell terrier appropriately named Trouble, and a lot of unnamed dust bunnies that have moved in since she started pursuing her writing career.Win $$$ with your Laws of Life Essay The deadline for the 2008 contest was January 31. Check here for the 2008 winners list, which will be posted later this spring. Winners in the 2007 contest include the following: Lydia Diener, First Place; Jessica Paulsen $500, Second Place; Sarah Beth Elam, Third Place; and Grace Sartain, Fourth Place. The following students received honorable mentions: Lela Ivins, Lauren Hunter, Anna Barnard, Autumn Floyd, Katelyn Hurst, and Amy Henderson. Inklings Guest Speaker Wins Award: "Watching You" Named Sesac Song of the Year
Nashville songwriter Brian White visited the Inklings on January 9. White co-wrote the hit song "Watching You,"
sung by country music star Rodney Atkins. The song was named Sesac Song of the Year.
The song was also named country music's most requested song of the year. White has also won multiple Dove Awards
