I expect children in my classroom to say “Yes ma’am” or “No, ma’am”.

I expect children in my classroom to say “Excuse me” when interrupting a conversation, bumping into another person, or getting in another person’s way.

I expect children in my classroom to say “Thank you” when given something.

I expect children in my classroom to say “Your Welcome” when someone says “Thank you.”

I expect children in my classroom to take care of things given to them.

I expect children in my classroom to NOT ask for free things.

I expect children in my classroom to be considerate of others that are different than themselves.

I expect children in my classroom to say “Excuse me” when burping (etc) and I expect other children not to laugh, point, or embarrass the person.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 




Cafeteria Manners


 

   

I expect children in my classroom to chew with their mouths closed.

I expect children in my classroom to talk about appropriate things at the lunch table.

I expect children in my classroom to not mix food unless they plan to eat it that way (i.e. corn and mashed potatoes).

I expect children in my classroom to use their fingers for finger foods, spoons for all other food.
