Parent Volunteer Program

  At Hillsboro Elementary, we are proud of our school, our staff, our students, and our parents.  We believe that our success is due in a large part to our excellent Parent Volunteer Program.  By becoming a parent volunteer at our school, you will not only allow your child's teacher to spend more time with the class, but you will also show your child that you care.  It is so important to our children that we parents take an active role in their lives-- volunteering our time at school, church, sporting events, scouting, etc.  This shows our youngsters that we believe in them and are interested in their daily activities.

  During the coming school year, many opportunities to serve the school will be available to you.  We are always in need of parents to help with copying, art work, Spring Fling, Homecoming, and other events.  If you can spare any time at all to help this year, please contact me at 596-2775.

  Parent Teacher Organization

 

  Our purpose is to unite parents and faculty in the education of our children and in the improvement of our school.  The PTO is responsible for the coordination of special events, the organization of fundraisers, and the budgeting and distribution of PTO funds.   Meetings are scheduled monthly with childcare provided for each meeting.
