At Hillsboro Elementary, it is
our goal to provide students a positive learning experience in a safe and caring
environment. Our faculty and staff are dedicated to working with parents to
insure the best education possible for every student. We believe that this can
best be achieved when there is cooperation and good communication between home
and school. Parents are invited to visit in our school and to participate in all
school functions and events. Our Parent Volunteer Program, parent meetings,
conferences and monthly newsletters are some avenues we provide to bridge the
gap between home and school. Parents are encouraged to contact the school to
arrange an appointment if they have questions or concerns. By working together
we can help our students reach their highest level of achievement.

Chinese Proverb Hillsboro Elementary
provides students with a developmentally appropriate curriculum in an enriching
environment. Students are given the opportunity to learn from many aspects
of school life, ranging from academics to sporting and special programs.
The faculty and staff continue to research and receive professional training
to enable them to stimulate growth in every aspect of the learner’s life
and to promote enthusiastic life long learners. It is the desire of our
school to help our students become not only good learners, but also good
people. Parental involvement is valued at Hillsboro Elementary in assessing
student needs and progress as well as in the celebration of achievements
and successes.
