Our motto at Hillsboro Elementary School is Helping Every Student, which our faculty and staff work hard to achieve. Hillsboro Elementary qualifies for Title I funding under the Federal No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) of 2001. We have a Schoolwide Title I Program. A very important component of a Title I School is parent involvement. What is parent involvement and why is it important? Parent Involvement is the participation of parents in every facet of their child's education and development. Research shows evidence beyond dispute that when schools work together with families to support learning, children tend to succeed not just in school, but throughout life.
