I love to read
and I love animals.. I have a dalmatian named Patch . . . for
the black "patch" on his eye. He is nine years old. I love children
. . . this is why I teach. My joy as an educator is to see children's
eyes light up with excitement and enthusiam when they learn something new,
master a skill, or begin to read.I have taught Kindergarten at Hickerson
Elementary for five years. I attended MTSU where I received a Bachelor
of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (Education).I encourage
communication between parents and teachers. Feel free to come to
me with any questions, comments, concerns, or suggestions. I will
be available before 8:00 a.m. and after 3:00 p.m., or at a scheduled time.
Mission for the Class:
I believe all children can learn.
They do not learn at the same pace or in the same way. It is my responsibility
to meet each child's individual needs and to provide the tools and assistance
that will allow them to reach their fullest potential. Let us all
have fun doing this!
