Ms. Meredith's Kindergarteners celebrate day 100th.

Mrs. Dianne's Kindergarteners celebrated the 100th day of school also.

The students and Mr. Wright, the music teacher, received a standing ovation from the students.

These girls on the left won the Spelling Bee at Hickerson, and the girl on the right is the alternate.  They will compete in the Coffee County Spelling Bee!  Good job girls!

These Kindergarteners braved the elements to study
the different shapes and kinds of snowflakes.

These Kindergarteners in Mrs. Dianne's class use
magnifying glasses to look at the snowflakes closely.

The Pre-School visit the Post Office on a field trip.

They got to go in the back of the Post Office too.

On another trip they went to Wal-mart.

The Pre-school is checking out Wal-mart's camera section.

The Cat in the Hat visited our cafeteria during
Dr. Seuss's Birthday Celebration Week!

Some of the students were a bit skeptical of The Cat in the Hat as well as the strange lunch menu this week!

Students showed some of the Dr. Seuss's books which
were read to them by special guests!

Ms. Meredith's class display their
Cat in the Hat hats!

Mrs. Dianne's class ate Green Eggs and Ham while
showing off their Cat in The Hat hats!

Some of the children are hesitant about trying
the Green Eggs and Ham!

Big Jim Haggard stopped over to explain his
cowboy gear to Hickerson's 5th graders.

Of course he had to show off some of his roping tricks!
