Hickerson Elementary thanks the Coffee Co. Bank for volunteering to be a Partner in Education.

Hickerson Hawks Saving Bank had its Grand Opening on Oct. 1st with several special guests present including Coffee Co. Bank's president amd directors.

Mrs. Webb's class jumping and playing in the Fall leaves.

During American Education Week, the students got a special treat, Mrs. Kathy Norton, school board member, read and looked like the part of Brair Rabbit and the Tar Baby.

Big Jim Haggard visits the Kindergarten and tells them about the life and items of a cowboy.

Since the 3rd graders had been studying about the Old West, Big Jim dropped by to talk to them also.

The Kindergarten had a special guest for the letter Mm,
a massage therapist.

Hickerson Elementary was named "The TN Distinquished Title I School".  Pictured above 
are State Title I officials and Dr. Shemwell, 
present Principal, Mr. Vaughn, past Principal, 
Jane Bonham, Title I teacher and Freda Jones, Title I Supervisor for Coffee County Schools. In addition to the plaque, our school received $500.
