CCCHS Beta Club “Leading by Serving Others!”Teacher Survival Kit - (Project Leader: Justin Judge /
Sponsor Contact: Lana Ray Room 130) Betas are asked to help make
“Teacher Survival Kits” for Parent-Teacher Conferences on Sept. 20th Beta Bears - (Project Leader:
Lori Gesell / Sponsor Contact: Mike Ray Room 44) Betas
are asked to bring in a new or gently used Teddy Bear to donate to the Coffee
County Sheriff's Department for distribution to children in crisis. These bears can help alleviate the pain of
young children who our law enforcement come in contact with. Project
begins September 4 and concludes September 18. SafeSpace – (Project
Leader: Bridget Snell / Sponsor Contact: Lana Ray Room 130) October is Domestic Violence Month This project allows the Beta
members to fill shoe boxes with items for victims of domestic violence. The
boxes will be donated to the Haven of Hope organization in Manchester.
The club members are asked to bring in empty shoe boxes and items to place
in each box. Items can include
travel-size personal hygiene for women and children. Also small toys can be
brought in for the kids. Pens, gum and writing stationary are great articles
as well. Project begins October 9
through October 23.. Check out the

Contact: Susan Wakeman) Between Thanksgiving and Christmas break, Betas will be encouraged to donate to our children selected from the Angel Tree project in the mall. Sarah Coop) Betas and CCCHS Students will be asked to bring their
“spare change” (Pennies, Nickels and Yes Dimes) during the week of March 12th
– 16th which will be given to the Dollywood Foundation to purchase books for
preschoolers in our county. This
