CCCHS Beta Club

The Purpose of the Coffee County Central High School chapter of the National Beta Club is to promote leadership, character, academic achievement and service. This club will also provide opportunities for students to share their talents in math, science, history, creative writing, art, music, dance, drama and speech at the state and national level through participation at Beta Conventions.

In 2007 our Beta Bears project collected over 300 stuffed animals to help Coffee County children in need. We also collected 243 Bears in 2010.

Meeting Dates:  2nd Monday of Each Month

 

Support our Local VFW We will take donations for patriotic ribbons in honor of Patriot Day-9/11 Visit the Beta Club table during all four lunches throughout the week of Sept 7th – 10th. All monies donated will help the local VFW with the installation of a much needed ceiling. CCCHS students can help show our appreciation for the service our veterans have given this country by wearing their red, white and blue “Patriot Ribbon” during the week of Sept. 7-10th

 

Donate a Cell Phone to our project for Haven of Hope Center for Domestic Violence à this will be an ongoing project. Phones and chargers can be turned in the Mrs. Ray in room 130.

Congrats to Ben Nation! He won first place in Math at our school’s first TN Beta Club Convention! Check out his name on the National Beta Club website.

 

We had a great convention last March.  Our club had members entered in every competition!  We all had a lot of fun and the students represented our school well! We look forward to even better convention in 2009! This year’s TN Beta Club Convention will be held in Nashville at the Opryland Convention Center.  It will most likely be held near the end of March 2009.  Check back here later for the exact date.  It will be posted as soon as the National Beta Club announces it.
