P3 seeks
to empower students to make wise decisions and exert a positive influence on
others. Mission
The mission of P3
is to promote a positive atmosphere for students that will enable them
to make right choices concerning the use of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs
as well as sexual abstinence. Motto
Doing what’s
popular is not always right and doing what’s right is not always popular. Beliefs
Students can be
empowered to lead others. Students who
recognize their true self worth will be more likely to influence others in a
positive way. When give adequate
information, students are able to make better decisions and create a healthy
lifestyle. Students want to
live healthy, productive and successful lives. When students learn
to set goals and priorities for their lives, they can avoid choices that
prevent them from achieving those goals. It’s time to stop
accepting teen drinking as a rite of passage and to understand the threat it
poses to healthy development. It’s time to replace an environment that all too often enables underage alcohol use with an environment that discourages it. |
