Purpose The purpose of P^3is to promote a positive atmosphere for our students which will enable them to make the right choices concerning the use of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs (ATOD), as well as sexual abstinence until marriage. Sponsors The current sponsors of P^3are Sponsor name, Sponsor name, and Sponsor name. Membership The membership of P^3will include students who have demonstrated a commitment to remain free of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs and are willing to develop the leadership skills necessary to be a positive influence on his or her peers. Member Pledge I pledge to use my power of influence in a positive way, show my pride by standing tall in what I believe, and to prevent my peers from harming themselves and others. (This pledge is signed by the student and sponsors. They are given a card with the pledge for their wallet.) Proposed Activities for this school year ü Safe and Drug free parties for P^3members at sponsors and parents homes. ü Celebrate Red Ribbon Week, Great American Smoke Out, Prom Promise ü Induction Ceremony ü Coordinate guest speakers for our school ü Leadership Training for P^3members: The members of P^3will receive leadership and ATOD awareness training at our local meetings, at the ETTI winter planning retreat and at the ETTI summer camp.
